Não tenho nenhum texto meu que mereça ser postado, mas encontrei um trecho de um livro que há muito eu procurava e nunca encontrava. Faz muito tempo que eu falei dele com o Evandro e, desde então, tenho procurado. Por alguma razão, fiquei com isso na cabeça. Mencionei o texto em uma tentativa de ajudar o Evandro e, ao encontrá-lo, esperava que ele me ajudasse. A minha surpresa foi que eu, no fundo, não precisava achar o texto. Eu já o sabia.

Ao texto. Um trecho de Tom Jones, de Henry Fielding:

"It is possible, however, that Mr Allworthy saw enough to render him a little uneasy; for we are not always to conclude, that a wise man is not hurt, because he do not cry out and lament himself, like those of a childish or effeminate temper. But indeed it is possible he might see some faults in the captain without any uneasiness at all; for men of true wisdom and goodness are contented to take persons and things as they are, without complaining of their imperfections, or attempting to amend them. Estou lendo o comunicação neste momento, mas pensando também no que postar.
Primeiro, fiquei lisonjeado, pois o meu nome foi citado. E lembro sim, quando você me falou dele.
Mas, como havia lhe dito, o meu inglês, apesar de ser algo que eu entenda 1/3 das coisas, fico no "ralo" quando textos assim, cheios de termos ainda um tanto desconhecidos por mim, existem. Mas, ainda irei procurar entendê-lo, pois você desejava me dá-lo como referência.
Mas vendo o texto, deu para entender que, uma pessoa via os erros do capitão, mas ele não se importava com tais defeitos. E este texto, fala sobre a amizade.
